A unique concentrated detergent that cleans hides and skins while adding softness. It also makes shaving easier. Due to its compatibility with electrolytes, it can be added to the pickle, tan bath or final rinse. Detergenol PT is excellent for use in the rehydration of tanned hides and skins where the oils used in the previous tanning methods tend to leach out while rehydrating. This is noticeable when the rehydration bath turns milky white, which means the oils weren’t fixed in the leather.
